Thank you for the great response!

Thank you for all of the great responses to the blog contest.  We were very impressed with the entries that were received.  There were so many great ones, it was very difficult to select only two in each category, so we selected three, bringing our total winners to six!

It is great to see so many people that share a vision for firefighter fitness and an understanding of how important it is to make physical fitness a top priority in the fire service.  We received entries from all over the world and it’s obvious that we share the same concerns regarding firefighter health and fitness.  It is very inspiring to see so many people ready to take action!

The following people (in no particular order) have been selected to receive free editions of TACFIT Fire Fighter:  First Alarm!

Kyle Condra

Kyle is a Firefighter for the Carmel Fire Department in Carmel, Indiana.

Colin Ayer

Colin Ayer is a Firefighter/Paramedic for the Portland Fire Department in Portland, Maine.

Scott Stedman

Scott Stedman is an Acting Captain with the Peterborough Fire Services in Ontario Canada.

Kevin McCullough

Kevin is a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Monarch Fire Protection District in St. Louis County, Missouri.

Felipe Niquete

Felipe is a Firefighter with the Kern County Fire Department in California.

Mike Morton

Mike Horton is the Chief of Training & Safety for the Bayou Cane Fire Protection District in Houma, Louisiana.

Congratulations to all of you and let us know how you progress with the program!

TACFIT Fire Fighter:  First Alarm Goes Live Tomorrow!

We have been humbled by the responses that we have received over the past couple of weeks and are excited to be offering First Alarm as your firefighter fitness program.  This project began as a conversation in a hotel room nearly two years ago and we have really come a long way with your support.

As we reflect on the development of the program, the people who have so selflessly contributed, and the potential we all have for changing firefighter health & wellness, we simply can’t help but to be overwhelmed by the support and size of this movement.  We would like to extend our gratitude and thank everyone involved.

First Alarm will be available worldwide tomorrow night!  We will be launching with the premiere of the “TACFIT Fire Fighter:  First Alarm Trailer.”

Please keep in touch as you dig into the program and we can’t wait to hear about your personal TACFIT journey.

Train hard, train smart, and stay safe!

With gratitude,

Christian & Ryan
